CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Water Department was presented the Outstanding Municipal Utility Award from the Texas Municipal Utilities Association (TMUA).
The department was recognized for its outstanding improvements made to the City’s Public Water System since the operational and water quality challenges faced in 2015 and 2016. Upgrades included the cycling of its water storage tanks, disinfection treatment improvements and new state-of-the-art electronic equipment data.
Our water system was recognized as a Superior Rated Water System by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
