Variety of Plants and Flowers at the Xeriscape Garden and Learning Center

There is a wide variety of plants and flowers at the Xeriscape Garden and Learning Center.
Xeriscape (pronounced Zer'-i-skap) is the conservation of water and energy with water conservation in mind. The concept was developed by the Denver Water Department during the early 1980's to promote water conservation during a critical drought period. The word Xeriscape has become an international term, as countless cities promote the use of Xeriscape to help curb water use and to extend limited water resources.
