Utility Work to Affect Traffic along Kostoryz Road

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents beginning on Friday, February 17, 2017, through Saturday, March 4, 2017, weather permitting, contractors will be doing utility work on a number of the streets near Kostoryz Road. The following traffic control plan will be implemented during this period:

■ Orlando Drive: Orlando Drive will be closed to through traffic between Casa De Oro Drive and Kostoryz Road. Motorists will be detoured onto Casa De Oro Drive, then onto Casa Bonita Drive, then onto Texan Trail, then onto Staples Street, and then to Kostoryz Road. 

■ Olsen Drive: Olsen Drive will be closed to through traffic between Benton Street and Kostoryz Road. Drivers will be detoured onto southbound Benton Drive, then onto westbound Brawner Parkway, and then to Kostoryz Road.

Northbound Kostoryz Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic through the work site for all scheduled work.

Traffic control devices will guide motorists through the work site. Motorists should expect delays and if possible seek alternate routes or avoid the area.
