Utility Work Starting Today Will Affect Alameda Street and Southern Street Intersection

The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 23 (today), contractors will be doing utility work at the Alameda Street and Southern Street intersection.

While the work is ongoing, traffic will be reduced to only one lane from Louisiana Avenue to Atlantic Street. Flaggers will be on site to assist motorists and guide traffic through the one lane work zone. 

Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
