Updated COVID-19 Vaccines for Children and Adults Available at Health District

Vaccine for Ages 6 months and older

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District has received the updated COVID-19 vaccines manufactured by Pfizer and Moderna. The Pfizer vaccine is available for individuals ages six months and older. The Moderna vaccine is available for individuals 12 years and older. The updated vaccines target the currently circulating variant, Omicron Variant “XBB. 1.5” and provide better protection against severe outcomes of COVID-19 illness.

The Health District can vaccinate eligible children and adults who qualify under the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) or the Adult Safety Net (ASN) programs. To be eligible under the TVFC or ASN, individuals must be uninsured or be underinsured.
