TxDOT To Begin Daily Lane Closures on Leopard Street Monday

Repairs from Cantwell Drive to Rand Morgan Road Expected to Last until June

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—On Monday, April 15, the Texas Department of Transportation will begin a $3 million complete pavement repair project on State Spur 407 (Leopard Street) in west Corpus Christi. The project's limits will be from Cantwell Drive to FM 2292 (Rand Morgan Road).

In addition to full-pavement repair, the project will include a final seal coat of the road and striping. The project will have daily daytime lane closures and various long-term lane closures. Motorists should plan alternate routes during the project or expect delays.

The current schedule estimates project completion around the end of June. All work is weather permitting.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
