Traffic Control to Affect Traffic on Staples Street

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents that on Thursday, April 25 thru Thursday, May 2, 2019; weather permitting, contractors will be working inside utility manholes.  During this period, the following traffic control plan will be implemented:

• Northbound Staples Street between Peerman Place and Catalina Place will be reduced to one lane of traffic.
• Both the northbound inside travel lane and the center lane will be closed to traffic.
• Traffic control devices will be removed at the end of each workday.

Traffic control devices will guide motorists through the work site. Drivers should expect delays and if possible seek alternate routes or avoid the area.
