Traffic Control to Affect Intersection of Airline Road and Williams Drive

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering Office advises residents that on Tuesday, February 5, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM; weather permitting, contractors will be doing utility work at the intersection of Williams Drive and Airline Road. During this period, the following traffic control plan will be implemented:

• Southbound Airline Road will be reduced to one lane through the Williams Drive intersection.  Traffic will be permitted to make right turns onto westbound Williams Drive.
• Northbound Airline Road left turning lane will be closed to traffic. No left turns are permitted.
• Westbound Williams Drive traffic will be permitted to make right turns onto northbound Airline Road.  No left turns are permitted.
• Eastbound Williams Drive traffic will only be permitted to make right turns onto southbound Airline Road.  No left turns are permitted.

Traffic control devices will guide motorists through the work site. Drivers should expect delays and if possible seek alternate routes or avoid the area.
