Time to #BeReadyCC for Hurricane Season
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Are you prepared? June marks the beginning of the 2021 hurricane season. The City of Corpus Christi wants everyone to be ready and encourages residents to map out an emergency plan.
Not sure where to start? The City has the latest information to get you and your family prepared. You can find out what you need for your emergency kit, ways to protect your home, why you should back up your computer files, and pet care tips.
Since planning for the 2021 hurricane season comes during the COVID-19 pandemic, we must also plan to protect ourselves and others from exposure to COVID-19.
The information is available through the City’s website at www.cctexas.com/beready, on the City’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/citygov/, and Twitter @cityofcc. To get the latest weather updates from the City of Corpus Christi, residents should sign up for weather alerts at www.reversealert.org.
