The 2021 Wings Over South Texas Airshow

The Blue Angels, the Navy Seals, and the Coast Guard will Perform

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The 2021 Wings over South Texas Airshow takes place along the Corpus Christi Bayfront beginning April 29 through May 2. The organizers want to make sure spectators know what to expect during the four-day event.

Aircraft will be flying at low altitudes over the city and bayfront, approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Aircraft will be loud but will not break the sound barrier at any time during the performances. Aircraft will trail white smoke, which is used to track the aircraft by the viewing public. The smoke is biodegradable and does not pose a threat to the environment.

In addition, the US Navy Seals from the Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Team will demonstrate their skills beginning April 30 through May 2, and the US Coast Guard will be conduct search and rescue demonstrations to showcase their duties for Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi.
