UPDATED: Temporary Lane Closures on Cimarron Boulevard

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents and business beginning Monday, July 22, the following traffic control plan will be implemented, weather permitting:

• Southbound Cimarron Boulevard, between Grenoble Drive and Lens Drive, will be closed to all traffic, temporarily converting this section of roadway to ONE WAY northbound. Traffic traveling southbound in this area will need to seek alternate routes.
• Northbound Cimarron Boulevard will not be affected by the work zone.

The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the work zone and follow detour signs. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area. Access to local driveways and side streets will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
