Tejano Legends to be Honored at Library Photo Gallery Induction

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Take in some local history and listen to some live music at a special Platicás Musicales (Musical Talks) event. The Ben F. McDonald Public Library invites you to the 8th Annual La Musica del Sur de Tejas (the Music of South Texas) Induction. 

This year’s inductees include two media personalities and TV show hosts, Luis Alonzo Muñoz and Mike Chavez. Three South Texas musicians will also be inducted including conjunto artist June P. Garcia, Tejano artist Wally De Luna, and guitarist and vocalist Jesse Rodriguez.

The free, family event takes place Wednesday, October 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 4044 Greenwood Drive.
