SOS Hotline Opens Pre-registration Today from 12 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

500 First Dose Vaccinations Available

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) will open its Save Our Seniors (SOS) pre-registration hotline today, April 9 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for 500 homebound seniors who will be vaccinated beginning the week of April 12.

The hotline number is 1-888-728-0018 and is available in English and Spanish. Seniors and individuals who are homebound are invited to register for this program. The hotline number will only be open during the pre-registration time, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The vaccine administered will be Moderna.

A homebound senior is identified as a person who is unable to leave their home without difficulty. It is usually due to advanced age, illness, or disability.

The CCFD will continue to offer vaccinations as vaccines become available.
