Shopping Way One Lane Street

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents and business starting at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, the following traffic control plan will be implemented, weather permitting:

• Northbound and southbound Shopping Way, between Staples Street and McArdle Road, will be reduced to one lane for both directions. Flaggers will control traffic around the work zone during construction hours.  
•  Southbound Staples Street will be reduced to one lane at the Shopping Way intersection during construction hours.
•  Westbound McArdle Road will be reduced to one lane at the Shopping Way intersection during construction hours.

The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area. Access to local driveways and side streets will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
