Safe Fun-Fit at the Bayfront Offers "Walk with a Doc" at Heritage Park on July 8
Free Fitness Classes Available
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with VFit Productions, is offering the Safe Fun-Fit at the Bayfront's “Walk with a Doc" on Saturday, July 8, in the Courtyard at Heritage Park, located at 1581 N. Chaparral Street. The event is free and open to everyone!
Dr. Matt Bayazitoglu and Dr. Maria Narcise will lead two group walks and present information on the benefits of walking for children and adults.
Free fitness classes will also be offered from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Sign up today for the 'Back to Basics Fitness', Yoga, or Zumba class at www.cctexas.com/safefunfit. Class sessions are limited to 30 participants per class. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat and water for their workout. All participants receive a punch card to record each Saturday attended. A completed punch card of ten punches is eligible for a prize. Our community partner, H-E-B, will provide fruit and water for all participants.
