Residents Encouraged to Stay Home and Off Roadways As Inclement Winter Continues

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi would like to remind residents a winter storm warning remains in effect this evening for inland Nueces County through Wednesday morning.

According to the National Weather Service Office - Corpus Christi, temperatures are expected to fall below freezing and light drizzle is possible creating light icing for inland Nueces County. With freezing rain possible, it's important to know this situation is more dangerous than snow as ice can form on roadways and sidewalks. These are dangerous driving conditions and the community is urged to stay off the roads in those areas.
