CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – At Thursday’s City Council meeting, the Council approved an ordinance authorizing construction contracts totaling $24M for the comprehensive Residential Street Rebuild Program for Fiscal Years 2024 and 2025. This program aims to revitalize the City's infrastructure and improve road conditions, improving the quality of life for residents.

The program will include the rebuilding of 96 residential streets for Fiscal Year 2024. The streets included in the program can be found on the Rapid Pavement Program (RPP) website at https://www.cctexas.com/rpp. You can visit this webpage to keep updated on the list of streets. The included streets are spread throughout the five City Council districts.

The contracts for the program will be awarded to three local street construction firms: Tex-Mix Paving, Anderson Columbia, Inc., and Bay Ltd. By awarding contracts to local firms, the City is reinforcing its commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering community development.

Funding for these construction contracts is included in the City Council Adopted FY24 Budget.
