Free Conference on Drought Resistant Landscaping at the American Bank Center

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX- Corpus Christi Water (CCW) is hosting the Xeriscape Symposium on February 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the American Bank Center. This year’s theme is 30 Years of Xeriscape and focuses on providing information to anyone interested in learning how to create beautiful drought and heat-resistant yards.

Drew Molly, P.E., Chief Operating Officer of CCW, will welcome participants. Presenters at the conference include Master Gardener Joanne Salge, National Weather Service meteorologist John Metz and Landscape Designer Kathy Hubner. Bill Alexander, KRIS-TV Meteorologist, will be the master of ceremonies.

The conference is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Door prizes will be given away, including a rain barrel and numerous drought-resistant plants.
