Corpus Christi International Airport to Begin Seasonal Flights to Dallas Love Field Airport in Summer 2024

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Southwest Airlines and the Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) are pleased to announce a seasonal Saturday flight from Corpus Christi International Airport to Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). The seasonal flights will begin on Saturday, June 8, 2024, and end on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

“This air service announcement results from a consistent and robust relationship between CCIA leadership and Southwest Airlines over the past several months,” said Kevin Smith, Director of Aviation at CCIA. “Southwest also benefited from CCIA’s first Air Service Incentive Program.”

Additionally, CCIA has lowered the cost per enplanement (CPE) by 37% since 2021. CPE is a metric used in the airline industry to measure the cost of each passenger boarding a plane at an airport, including landing fees, airside usage charges, fuel flowage fees, and more. A lowered CPE reduces airline costs to the airport, which will help lower ticket prices and could potentially influence an airline to add service.
