Community Input Sought for Bayside Area Development Plan
Online Survey Now Available
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX –The City of Corpus Christi’s Planning and Community Development Department encourages anyone interested in the Bayside area to take a survey on a new long-range plan for the area. The survey is open through October 23 on the project website www.creatingcc.com/bayside.
The survey goal is to review elements of a draft plan crafted from public input received in two previous phases. Feedback collected during the project's third and final phase will help city planners revise the plan according to community preferences.
The study area is as follows:
16.6 square miles and is bounded by Morgan Avenue on the north, South Padre Island Drive on the south, Ocean Drive/Oso Bay on the east, and the Crosstown Expressway on the west.
The Bayside Area Development Plan study area includes:
- Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
- Del Mar College – Heritage Campus
- Oso Beach Municipal Golf Course
- Sunrise and La Palmera Malls
- Six Points
- Port-Ayers commercial corridor
Draft materials are available for review on the project website. To learn more about the project and sign up for email updates, please visit www.creatingcc.com/bayside
