CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A nationwide Enfamil A.R. Specialty Baby Formula shortage caused some Corpus Christi residents to seek alternative baby formulas. According to a local inventory assessment conducted by the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, Enfamil A.R. is back in stock at local retailers.

Enfamil A.R. is a WIC-approved specialty formula to reduce reflux and adverse reactions. When formula availability is affected, the WIC program guides parents to alternative options in conjunction with their pediatrician.

WIC is committed to helping Texas parents develop amazing kids. Benefits are provided without cost to eligible pregnant women, new mothers, and children up to age 5. The program offers qualified families nutritious food and formula benefits, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support.

The City of Corpus Christi operates the WIC program with the Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District at 1702 Horne Road. For more information, visit TexasWIC.org or call 361-826-1355.
