Temporary Closure of Bill Witt Park Splash Pad
Construction of New Playground Unit Underway
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Bill Witt Park Splash Pad, located at 6869 Yorktown Boulevard, is closed for the remainder of the season due to the construction of a new playground unit to be installed adjacent to the splash pad. The closure is effective Wednesday, August 16.
The new playground unit with a shade structure and safer playground surface is estimated to be completed in October, weather permitting. This is the latest park upgrade in a series of new playgrounds scheduled for installation this year.
