City Continues with Applications for Inner Harbor Desalination Site
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX –The City of Corpus Christi received notification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) seeking additional information regarding the Inner Harbor desalination project permit application.
The Corps issued a 30-day deadline to submit additional information, which ended on August 1. The City’s application has been temporarily withdrawn without prejudice and can be reinstated and prioritized when the Corps receive the requested information.
Corpus Christi Water (CCW) professionals and their engineering firm on record, Freese and Nichols, anticipate providing the requested information to the Corps project management team in the coming weeks. Once this information is submitted to the Corps, the permit application will be reinstated and prioritized.
