Youth Traffic Safety and Risk Prevention Event this Saturday

Free School Supplies, Motivational Speakers, and More!

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi’s Municipal Court, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Driscoll Children’s Hospital Injury Prevention, invites community youth to its Youth Traffic Safety and Risk Prevention Event on Saturday, July 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will take place at the American Bank Center, located at 1901 North Shoreline Boulevard.

Attendees will learn about the dangers of drunk driving and engage with our impaired driving simulators. Special guests Sean Carter, DWI survivor, and former NFL player Keith Davis will speak about their personal experiences and the risks involved in drunk driving.

The first 200 attendees will receive a clear backpack – just in time for back-to-school season. We will also give away free school supplies and other items to those in attendance.
