UPDATE - Park Road 22 Bridge to be Reduced to one Lane on Friday
Motorists Should Expect Delays
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Beginning Friday, June 23, the Park Road 22 Bridge Project contractor will close the northbound lane of the bridge. The closure is needed to address a road failure on the bridge. The closures will begin at 9:00 am and last up to 3 hours.
During the repair, the bridge will be reduced from two lanes to one lane for motorists to cross the bridge. Motorists will only be permitted to cross the bridge one direction at a time (northbound toward Commodores Drive or southbound toward Whitecap Boulevard). As a safety precaution, the contractor will have a pilot car and flaggers on site to guide motorists across the bridge. Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.
Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are reminded to be aware of the work zone, follow posted signs, or find alternate routes to avoid delays.
