Emergency Crews Responding to Fire at Valero West Refinery

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Firefighting units are currently responding to a fire inside the Valero West Refinery at 5900 Up River Road in the Annaville area. As a precaution, a portion of Up River Road is closed. The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD), the Refinery Terminal Fire Company, and Valero emergency crews are on the scene. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the CCFD are monitoring air quality. At this time, there is no community action needed.
