City to Hold Town Hall Meetings to Discuss Fire Chief; Infrastructure Management Plan

Meetings to be Held in Each Council District

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi will hold town hall meetings to discuss the City’s new approach to the Infrastructure Management Plan (IMP) and introduce Brandon Wade as the City’s new fire chief.

On April 25, the City Council approved a pavement-only approach to repair the City’s residential streets. The new approach will address additional lane miles at five times the production rate of the City’s current process.

City staff are working to finalize the IMP list that will be presented to the City Council in June. As part of this process, City staff will hold a series of town hall meetings in each Council District to obtain input from the public.

In addition to gaining public input, the town hall meetings will also be used to introduce Fire Chief Brandon Wade to the community. Chief Wade’s introduction will take place at the beginning of each meeting, after which he will be available to answer questions from the public.

Each town hall meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the locations listed below:
