City to Conduct Community Survey on Housing, Homelessness, and Community Development
Survey Results Will Help Determine How Federal Funds are Spent
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi is seeking input through a community-wide survey on housing and community development priorities as part of the City’s 5-year plan for funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. These funds finance activities for low- and moderate-income residents in Corpus Christi.
The City receives approximately $4.2 million annually from the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grant. Input from this survey is important in developing this critical planning tool.
The City of Corpus Christi encourages anyone interested in the City’s response to housing and community development needs to take the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CCpriorities. The survey will remain open until May 31. All responses are anonymous.
