Temporary Closure of Cole Park Skatepark for Lighting Installation

Additional Installation of Lighting Poles

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will temporarily close the Cole Park skatepark at 1900 Ocean Drive for lighting installation. The project is set to begin Monday, April 17, with an anticipated completion date of Tuesday, April 25, pending no weather delays or unforeseen circumstances. 

AEP Texas will install additional light poles around the skatepark as the last phase of project upgrades to the renovated ledge, deck, and bowl.

Skaters are encouraged to visit the City’s other skatepark, Wranosky Park, located at 422 Graham Road in Flour Bluff. The park is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
