The Historic Preservation Photo Contest is Back!
Calling all Professional and Amateur Photographers to take Part
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Landmark Commission launches this year’s Photo Contest with the theme “Undiscovered Treasures.” Photographers of all ages and levels are invited to submit photographs of unrecognized buildings of significance in Corpus Christi.
The City is looking for compelling historic preservation highlights that, while essential to Corpus Christi’s narrative, may have been underrepresented or undiscovered. The contest begins on April 1.
To participate, submit high-resolution photography by May 1 with the hashtag #PreserveCC2023 to the City’s Social Media channels:
Facebook: @citygov
Instagram: @Cityofcc
Once the City reviews submissions, the pictures will be uploaded to the Development Services Facebook page at www.facebook.com/DevServicesCC, where citizens can vote by “liking” the best photos. The voting will be from May 3 to May 10.
The top 5 Winners will be notified and announced on Facebook and Instagram.

A selection of photographs will be displayed at City Hall, Development Services, and the Art Center.
