Subcontractor Mobilizing Second Crew to Ensure Timely Completion

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Contractors for the City have completed the chipping on the first two bent caps on the Yorktown Mud Bridge and are expected to begin pouring the forms for them on Friday.

After the work on the bent caps is complete, Southern Road & Bridge will begin adding specialized jackets to reinforce the columns.

Southern Road & Bridge, which started repairs to the bridge on January 23, is now on its 12th working day of what is expected to be a 70-working day project. The contractor is also mobilizing a second crew to meet the projected time frame.
