Get Involved with One of the City’s Most Iconic Sites
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – From boat slips to amenities offered at the T-heads, the City of Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is looking for residents to get involved in the decision-making process for this popular location in the community.
By becoming a member of the Marina Advisory Committee, you will:
- Make recommendations regarding the development, use, or preservation of the marina
- Assist the City in providing input for the planned development and use of the marina
- Review the annual and capital improvement budgets outlining the improvement and maintenance of the facilities at the marina
- Review and recommend to the City Council the feasibility of development, improvements, maintenance, or proposed uses for the marina
The Marina Advisory Committee comprises nine members appointed by the City Council for two-year terms. There are four possible committee positions available.
Boards, commissions, and committees help keep our city government dynamic, responsive, and accountable. The City could not function without the great advice, expertise, and time provided by the civic volunteers who serve on these boards.
If you are interested in serving on a city board, commission, or committee, please direct them to the City of Corpus Christi’s website at https://www.cctexas.com/services/general-government/boards-commissions-committees.
