Mowing of City Parks

123 City Parks to be Mowed Due to Heavy Rain

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – In response to the recent heavy rains, the City’s Parks and Recreation Department began mowing 123 City park locations today. The Parks Operations team estimates six weeks to complete the mowing of the 123 City parks, weather permitting.

The Park Operations team will work extended hours, including weekends, to ensure that all parks have been mowed. Special attention will be given to areas adjacent to sidewalks, playgrounds, and shade structures.

The Parks and Recreation Department will continue to monitor City parks in order to help alleviate the amount of overgrowth due to the recent heavy rains.
