Home Repair Programs No Longer Accepting Applications

Requests for Assistance Exceed Available Funding

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi has closed the application process for the Minor Home Repair Program and the Single-Family Rehabilitation Program. Applications received to date exceed the funding available under the programs.

Applications were processed in an order that serves those with the greatest needs. Thirty-five homeowners will receive up to $25,000 in repairs through the Minor Home Repair Program, and seven homeowners will receive up to approximately $125,000 in repairs or reconstruction through the Single-Family Rehabilitation Program.

The Minor Home Repair Program has $875,000 available and 141 applications.  The Single-Family Rehabilitation Program has $896,000 available and 117 applications. The City is actively seeking additional resources to expand the programs, and the application process will reopen when funds become available.
