Staples Street Receives Maintenance from Carmel Parkway to Autotown Drive

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – On Monday, July 25, City contractors will apply asphalt to five lanes on Staples Street from Carmel Parkway to Autotown Drive. Construction will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

While two-way traffic will remain open for motorists throughout construction, the contractor will conduct daily single-lane closures in the westbound lanes. Intersections along the construction path will experience daily short-term closures or restrictions.

The Staples Street construction project is part of the Public Works Department’s Street Preventative Maintenance Program and is expected to last up to two weeks.
