CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the Bond 2014 Ayers Street Pedestrian and Turn Lane improvement project.
The $11 million dollar project took over 2 years to complete and included significant improvements to Ayers Street from SPID to Gollihar Road. These improvements included the widening of the existing 4-lane roadway to 5 lanes, new ADA compliant sidewalks and curb ramps, a new turn lane and major utility enhancements to the storm drainage system.
