Increase of Prohibited Items Found in Travelers’ Carry-on Luggage

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) will host a media event on Tuesday, April 19, at CCIA to demonstrate how to pack and travel with a registered firearm and will discuss the increase of prohibited items found in travelers’ carry-on luggage during airport security screening operations.

This event is for media only and will take place in the main lobby on the second floor of the passenger terminal. The TSA will have a table and display in front of the checkpoint. Arrive anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
