City of Corpus Christi to Participate in Touch-A-Truck Event
Children will be allowed to explore their favorite vehicles
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi is excited to participate in the 4th Annual Touch-A-Truck Event at Whataburger Field on Saturday, March 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year’s event will offer “Horns Free” hours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for anyone looking for a more sensory-friendly experience.
The free event, hosted by the Junior League of Corpus Christi, Inc., provides a unique opportunity for children to explore vehicles of all types. The Corpus Christi Police Department, Corpus Christi Fire Department, Water Utilities, Solid Waste, and Public Works will have vehicles on display. Children will be allowed to explore their favorite vehicles and meet the people who help build, protect, and serve our community.
Proceeds from this year’s event will be used to support several community outreach programs focused on literacy, S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and various Done-in-a-Day projects that target specific community needs.
Those wishing to attend will need to register and sign a waiver. The form can be found here: https://bit.ly/3CMnC37
