City Employee on Administrative Leave after Arrest

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A Corpus Christi firefighter is on administrative leave after being arrested by the police department.
Fire Chief Robert Rocha said the arrest resulted from an investigation conducted by Child Protective Services (CPS). Rocha said the alleged incident did not occur while the employee was on duty as a Corpus Christi firefighter. CPS has turned the case over to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
The City is encouraging individuals to respect the process and allow the case to go through the criminal justice system.
