Doddridge Street to Receive New Roadway Surface

Santa Fe Street to South Alameda Street

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Beginning on Monday, September 27, City contractors will begin the installation of a new asphalt surface application on Doddridge Street from Santa Fe Street to South Alameda Street. These improvements are part of the City’s Street Preventative Maintenance Program and are anticipated to last a week.

Construction will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will require daily lane closures. During the first phase of the construction, lane closures will begin on the outside lanes of both sides of Doddridge Street. During the second phase, lane closures will shift to the street’s inside lanes. Detours will not be required for this work as flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic.

Safety is a top priority, so motorists are reminded to be aware of the work zone, follow the posted detour signs, or seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
