Parks & Recreation Department Announces Senior Meal Program Updates
Meal Distribution Affected by Tropical Storm Nicholas
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Due to impacts of Tropical Storm Nicholas forecasted in the early part of the upcoming week, the City’s Parks & Recreation Department announces the following changes to senior meal programs:
Senior Centers – Open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 13. Congregate meals will be available for inside dining, or center members can take the meal to-go. A frozen meal will also be provided to take for Tuesday, September 14, as meals will not be served at senior centers on Tuesday.
Home Delivered Meals Program clients will receive a one-week supply of shelf-stable meals being delivered today, September 12, instead of daily meal delivery for the week.
