CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Students returning to school will have school supplies thanks to the combined efforts of District 2 Councilman Ben Molina, the Corpus Christ Fire Department, the Corpus Christi Firefighters Association, and the Boys and Girls Club of the Coastal Bend.

For the last two weeks, a school supplies drive has been taking place for students in Elementary, Middle, and High School. Residents dropped off donations at any City of Corpus Christi Fire Station, with the donated school supplies being taken to schools served by the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Coastal Bend.

“Every kid deserves to start the school year with the supplies they need to achieve their potential,” District 2 Council Member Ben Molina said. “I want to thank the people of Corpus Christi for the generosity.”
