City Invites Public to Participate in Parks and Recreation 10 – Year Master Plan Survey
Master Plan to Guide Future Enhancements & Operations of Local Park System
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department wants to hear your voice on how to improve the City parks system.
The Parks Department is conducting an online survey to assess the recreational needs of the community. The results from the survey will be used, in part, to create the vision of the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Master Plan (PRMP). The master plan will guide the operation, expansion, and improvement of the City’s parks, open spaces, and recreational assets over the next ten years.
The online survey is estimated to take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Participation in the survey will give residents the opportunity to make their voices heard in the decision-making process to enrich our community. The public is invited to participate in the survey found at www.cctexas.com/parksmasterplan beginning June 4, 2021, through July 3, 2021.
The City encourages its residents and other stakeholders to remain involved throughout the PMRP planning process. To accomplish this, the Parks and Recreation Department also will be conducting public town halls throughout the development of the PRMP. The town hall schedule will be published shortly.
