CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi will launch the new Neighborhood Services Department to improve the quality of services provided to our neighborhoods. The department will unify Animal Care Services, Code Enforcement, Grant Monitoring, and Homeless Services & Workforce Housing divisions under one roof.

The Neighborhood Services Department mission is to enhance our citizens’ quality of life by consolidating neighborhood services under one department to promote and support neighborhood sustainability, growth, and safety. 

Mayor Paulette M. Guajardo, along with City Manager Peter Zanoni and several community representatives, will unveil the new department on Thursday, April 29th at 10 a.m. The announcement will take place at George Evans Elementary School, Outside Pavilion.

Due to COVID-19, attendees are encouraged to wear masks, and social distancing will be observed.
