SOS Hotline Opens Pre-registration for First Dose Vaccinations Tomorrow
Pre-registration Now Open to Citizens with Transportation Issues
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) will open its Save Our Seniors (SOS) pre-registration hotline tomorrow, Friday, April 23 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for 500 patrons who will be vaccinated beginning the week of April 26.
The hotline number is 1-888-728-0018 and is available in English and Spanish. In addition to homebound seniors, the SOS hotline is also open to individuals with transportation issues that prevent them from getting to vaccination clinics. The hotline number will only be open during the pre-registration time on Friday, April 23 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The vaccine administered will be Moderna.
A homebound senior is identified as a patron who is unable to leave their home without difficulty. It is usually due to advanced age, illness, or disability.
The CCFD will continue to offer vaccinations as vaccines become available.
