Health District to Administer over 25,000 COVID-19 Vaccines Next Week

City–County Patrons can Pre-register. Walk-ins will also be Accepted.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District will have first and second dose vaccination clinics next week for individuals in Phase 1A, 1B, 1C or any adult over the age of 18.

  • On Monday, March 29, the Corpus Christi–Nueces County Public Health District will administer 8,000 first dose Moderna vaccines during a walk-thru clinic at the American Bank Center, 1901 N. Shoreline Boulevard.
  • On Tuesday, March 30, the Corpus Christi–Nueces County Public Health District will administer 7,000 Moderna vaccines (5,000 second dose and 2,000 first dose) during a walk-thru clinic at the American Bank Center, 1901 N. Shoreline Boulevard.
  • On Wednesday, March 31, the Corpus Christi–Nueces County Public Health District will administer 5,000 second dose Moderna vaccines during a walk-thru clinic at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds, 1213 Terry Shamsie Boulevard, Robstown, Texas.
  • On Wednesday, March 31, the City of Corpus Christi and Driscoll Children’s Hospital will administer 2,300 second dose Pfizer vaccines during a walk-thru clinic at the American Bank Center, 1901 N. Shoreline Boulevard.
  • On Thursday, April 1, the City of Corpus Christi and Driscoll Children’s Hospital will administer 600 first dose Pfizer vaccines during a walk-thru clinic at the American Bank Center, 1901 N. Shoreline Boulevard.
  • On Friday, April 2, Driscoll Children’s Hospital and Del Mar College will administer 500 first dose Pfizer vaccines at Del Mar College-West Campus, 4101 Old Brownsville Road.
  • On Friday, April 2, the Corpus Christi–Nueces County Public Health District will administer 2,000 second dose Moderna vaccines during a drive thru clinic at West Oso High School, 754 Flato Road.
  • On Saturday, April 3, the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District will administer 260 second dose Moderna vaccines during a drive thru clinic at St. John Baptist Church, 5445 Greenwood Drive.

Things to know:

  • Health District clients can pre-register by calling 361-561-1101. To pre-register online, visit www.cctexas.com/vaccineregistration and click on the “Vaccination Registration” link. During online pre-registration you must receive a Quick Response (QR) code. Once the online pre-registration limit is reached, you will not be able to register until additional vaccines become available.
  • Notification of appointment date and time will be messaged to clients by text or landline scheduled for individuals pre-registered.
  • If you are not pre-registered, you may walk-in to get registered and vaccinated on a first come first served basis.
  • Patrons taking part in Driscoll Children’s Hospital vaccine clinics must register. Visit www.driscollchildrens.org/covid19vaccine
  • Appointments also can be made by calling 1-844-977-1477 Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • New registrations will open upon vaccine availability for future clinics.
  • Vaccines of different brands should not be mixed. If you received Moderna vaccine for your first dose, you should receive Moderna vaccine for your second dose.
  • If you registered for first dose, you do not need to re-register for the second dose.
