Corpus Christi International Airport to Launch Digital Marketing Campaign
Fly Local messaging to reach those actively making travel plans
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Corpus Christi Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council have authorized a one-year service agreement for a Digital Marketing Campaign for the Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA). The campaign will be developed and managed by Bell Media LLC for approximately $90,000 and will provide a comprehensive digital marketing campaign to entice travelers in the Coastal Bend region to choose CCIA over other regional airports.
The digital marketing campaign will include the implementation of search engine marketing which will place CCIA at the top of google search results when travelers in Corpus Christi are looking for airfare online. The campaign also will include marketing to customers who have chosen to fly out of other regional airports.
This type of digital advertising has proven very effective during the last half of 2020 when travelers were searching around for travel deals while still deciding when to take their first trip during the pandemic.
Customer preference for CCIA increased during the most recent campaign with a larger percentage of local travelers choosing to fly out of our airport instead of driving to Houston or San Antonio to catch flights.
“Our airport provides regional, national, and international transportation. I am looking forward to our enhanced digital marketing sharing the story of the Corpus Christi International Airport, and all it has to offer,” Mayor Paulette M. Guajardo said.
