5,000 COVID-19 Vaccines Arrived Today

CORPUS CHRISTI TX – The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District received a notice and the shipment today of 5,000 first dose vaccines. A first dose clinic for Phase 1A and 1B (including educators, school, and childcare workers) will be held for 5,000 pre-registered patrons on Friday, March 12 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds, 1213 Terry Shamsie Boulevard, Robstown, Texas.

Patrons who recently pre-registered by phone or online will receive a reverse alert message today with an appointment time and password for the vaccination clinic. If clients do not receive an appointment notification by text or landline, please call the Health District at 361-826-7200 option 2 for immediate assistance. 

The vaccine administered will be Moderna. There will be no first come first served service. Patrons without an appointment will be turned away.

Beginning Monday, March 15, the state will expand the COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to include people 50 years of age or older (no other qualification required).
