Fourth Vaccination Clinic Completed

Over 9,000 Individuals Vaccinated in One Week

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District successfully completed its fourth mega vaccination drive thru clinic this week giving out over 9,000 inoculations to individuals in Phase 1A and 1B.

It is anticipated the Health District will receive another 4,000 doses on Monday, January 18 for individuals in Phase 1A and 1B. If the Health District does receive vaccines on Monday, it will activate another mega vaccination drive thru clinic on Tuesday, January 19 at 8:00 a.m. at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds, 1213 Terry Shamsie Boulevard, Robstown, Texas.

The Health District will again have portable restrooms on site for patrons. Food trucks have been invited to take part and are in the vehicle staging areas allowing patrons to buy food and beverages. There also is a nearby Whataburger restaurant that provides food service options.

As wait times are expected, be mindful of medication(s) you may need while waiting for vaccination. Patrons are encouraged to bring something to keep them busy. Some suggestions include:

  • Snacks
