Vaccination Clinic Reaches Capacity and Is Closed to New Vehicles

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District’s mega vaccination drive thru clinic in Robstown, Texas has reached its capacity of 2,500 patrons for today and is now closed to new vehicles.

The limit was reached shortly after 6:00 a.m. two hours before the clinic opened. Police handling traffic in the area are now turning vehicles away.

There will be another mega vaccine drive thru clinic tomorrow, Saturday, January 16 at 8:00 a.m. at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds, 1213 Terry Shamsie Boulevard. The remaining vaccines, approximately 2,500, will be administered on Saturday until none are left.

It is anticipated the Health District will receive another 4,000 doses on Monday, January 18. If the Health District does receive vaccines on Monday, it will activate another mega vaccination drive on Tuesday, January 19.
